"Tenderhearts" - A successful intergenerational program between the preschool children and teachers of A Mother’s Touch and the seniors of the community.'
A Mother's Touch believes that older adults and young children have so much to bring to one another - time, acceptance, patience, kindness and compassion. We can learn from one another at all stages of life. Intergenerational programs help build meaningful relationships between mature adults and young children in a supervised setting. At our Niles location, children visit the Resurrection Nursing Center and The Park on Golf every month. At our Arlington Heights location, preschoolers visit The Moorings of Arlington Heights.
Program Highlights
- seniors interact with children ages 3-5

- activities - cooking, gardening, storytelling, arts & crafts, music time.
